Our Journey

The journey of Mr. Mohanbhai L. Rami is a remarkable story of unwavering determination, vision, and service. He began his career at Gujarat Agro Industry Corporation (1979–1981), and later gained valuable experience at AIMCO Pesticides (1981–1984), laying a strong foundation in the agrochemical sector. In 1983, he took a bold step by purchasing land in Naroda GIDC and establishing his own firm, Vimal Pesticides. Starting with humble beginnings, the company produced just 50 tonnes of Methyl Parathion which is a pesticide dust. However, recognition soon followed when SEARLE India, a major industry player, began marketing his products. By 1989, he had established a larger facility in Limbadiya, and in 1992, the firm was officially incorporated as Vimal Pesticides Pvt. Ltd.

His vision expanded further in 1996 with the establishment of two additional factories in Zak village under a sister company, Prakash Pesticides Industries. His collaboration with the global giant DuPont marked the beginning of significant international partnerships. In 1998, his contributions to quality and industry growth were nationally recognized when he received an award from the Governor of Tamil Nadu on behalf of the Government of India. Today, under his dynamic leadership, Vimal Crop Care stands as a symbol of excellence, sustainability, and compassion in Indian agriculture.

In 1997, recognizing the need for focused R&D, M/s. Vimco Pesticides was founded. This unit is dedicated to research, product development, and innovation in pesticides and fungicides, enhancing our ability to deliver world-class agro solutions.

Today, Vimal Crop Care Pvt. Ltd. boasts comprehensive production capabilities, including Granules, Liquids, Dust, Suspensible Concentrates, and Wettable Powders, supported by automated and semi-automated machinery and ample storage infrastructure.

A Name That Reflects Growth

As our scope expanded beyond pesticides into total crop care solutions, we rebranded in 2008 as Vimal Crop Care Pvt. Ltd. That same year, we revamped our Naroda unit to manufacture Copper OxyChloride Technical, Copper Hydroxide Technical, and WDP formulations—starting from elemental copper and matching global quality standards.
